UKiset has been designed as a standardized and adaptive online assessment taken in English, helping UK independent schools identify the most suitable oversea pupils aged between 9.5 and 18 years old. The assessment measures fundamental skills, such as verbal reasoning, non-verbal reasoning, mathematics and English, and can be used to identify a candidate in an all-round way. Over the years, more than 200 UK independent schools are using UKiset as a requisite procedure of their admissions process.

Taking the UKiset Test

申请上海莱克顿学校需填写入学申请表，无任何申请费用。该申请信息还将用于学生注册UKiset考试，UKiset(中国)收取测试费1800元。届时，招生办将安排考生携带考试相关物品至上海莱克顿学校参加考试。学生每三个月可重复参加UKiset的考试，成绩报告有效期为半年。

An applicant is required to complete a registration form with the UKiset test fee of 1,800 RMB, following that the admissions office will arrange for the next available test date on Lucton campus. The test can be re-taken after three months, and the results are valid for 6 months.

UKiset的考试内容有哪些?

Contents of the UKiset test

UKiset考试一共通过四个方面来对相关候选人进行测评：非文字推理(运用照片、图表和格式来进行问题的解决)，文字推理(文字和语言的运用能力)，数学(数字，数量和序列的运用能力)，英语能力(语法，阅读，听力和写作能力的运用)。它以智能的方法考核学生的学习能力和发展潜能，帮助学生准确定位优势、弱势及学习偏好。

UKiset的考试时长为120分钟，考前准备约15-20分钟。考试分为三部分：

**部分：逻辑及数学考试。题型为选择题，在线作答，时长为45分钟。

第二部分：英文听力阅读能力考试。题型为选择题，在线作答，时长为45分钟。

第三部分：英文写作能力考试。要求根据题目写一篇200-300字的文章，Y8及以下年级的学生要求150-200字，作文纸手写作答，时长为30分钟。

UKiset measures four skills: Non-Verbal Reasoning (solving problems using pictures, diagrams and patterns), Verbal Reasoning (the ability to work with words and language), Mathematics (working with numbers, value, and sequences) and English skills (grammar, vocabulary, reading comprehension, listening and creative writing). UKiset is a standardized assessment that can be used to identify a candidate’s strengths, weaknesses and learning preferences.

UKiset takes approximately 120 minutes to complete, with 15-20 minutes of preparation.

The examination is divided into three parts:

Section 1: Reasoning Test.

Results and Reports

考试结束后，系统生成的成绩单会在3-5个**日内发送给家长及学校，这是一份综合性报告，展现了考生在推理考试和剑桥英语评测下的表现。考生的成绩会被标准化之后显示在每一个单项里(文字推理，非文字推理和数学)。除成绩单外，还有一份个人报告，会发送给学校。

Each UKiset test generates a results report which is sent to the parent of a candidate and the school within 3-5 working days after completing the test. This is an overview of the candidate's performance in the reasoning tests and the Cambridge English assessment, including the candidate's standardized scores in each battery (verbal, non-verbal and mathematics). Schools receive a more comprehensive report on each UKiset candidate.
