2019年6月9日，上海莱克顿学校生活部组织了庆端午活动。大家一起了解端午习俗、动手*粽子、做香囊、编蛋兜。平时，大家都是粽子和香囊的消费者，这回自己动手做才发现简单的事情上手并不简单。以下是学生们分享的感受：

Last weekend, the boarding team organized several interesting activities for the Dragon Boat Festival, such as making Zongzi, producing Sachets and knitting related handicrafts. Students learned knowledge and customs of the festival through the activities under the guidance. They felt difficulty of making these stuffs at the beginning, but gradually, their finished-products were fantastic.

这是我**次做香囊，确切地说，这是我**次做针线活儿。我一度卡在**步的穿针上。凭着感觉，我开始走**针，尽量按照老师说的，针脚密集一点，走线保持在一条线上。这事儿看着不难，做起来是需要耐心和专注度的，因为缝到一半还需要插入流苏的套绳并固定住。好在我们老师很细心，总能在关键时刻提醒我们。我选了桂花儿放到香囊里，最后用藏针法缝起来，很有意思。最后成品出来很好看。制作香囊成功的让我一下午都没碰电子产品，妙啊!

This was my first time to make sachets, which was also my first time to do sewing. At the very beginning, I was stucked in the difficulty of first sewing and keeping sewing in the line. The tassel needed to be inserted and held in place through the sewing process, which required patience and concentration. With the help of teachers, I completed my first the sachet with the osmanthus flowers. It was enjoyable afternoon to make sachet without use electronic products.

这次庆端午的活动内容之一是*粽子。大家做了不少，可以送去给学校附近敬老院的孤寡老人们。我提前了敬老院的负责人，确认了老人们的偏好，煮熟的粽子或是生粽子。当天粽子*好后我们的小分队就出发了。曾经无数次在书里或者报纸上看到敬老院的相关报道，但这次是我**次亲身探访敬老院。接待我们的代表跟我们讲了这里的情况，聊起了家常。更多的老人也加入我们的谈话。不过因为他们讲方言的关系，交流起来有点困难。以后我们也会定期回来看望他们的。
