母爱是圣洁的、也是无私的。当我们沉浸在母亲节的节日气息中，忙于准备各种礼物和祝福时，有那么一群孩子需要所有人的关爱。为了让这些无助的孩子感受到更多的关怀和温暖，上海莱克顿学校四位志愿者在老师的带领下怀着最真实的情感，最朴实的心意踏上了前往“上海新生命之家”的路。

这里抚养着一群孤儿，因为各种疾病，从小就被送到了这里。孩子们看到我们的到来，一个个伸开双臂迎了上来，我们围坐在一起聊天，做游戏，整个房间充满了欢声笑语。短短的几个小时里，我们充分感受到了孩子们的信任与真诚，孩子们天真的笑容也深深地印在了我们的心中。我们希望所有上海莱克顿学校学生都能**帮助他人，**感恩和奉献，树立应有的社会责任意识。

上海新生命之家

Maternal love is an epitome of holy and selfless love. People are busy with preparing with nice gifts and warm wishes on Mother’s Day. However, there is a special group of children that may never experience maternal love since their birth. In order to help them feel the warmth, a group of Lucton students, together with house parents, visited Shanghai Healing Home, chatting and playing games with those children, some of whom were suffering from congenital defects, such as cleft lip and palate, or Down's syndrome.

Within the limited duration, students and teachers were deeply impressed by the innocent smiling and felt the trust and bona fides from the children. Visiting Shanghai Healing Home has been a regular activity for Lucton students to develop and understand the importance of being grateful and social responsibilities.

阮同学：“刚进入新生命之家，你便会在这些孩子身上看到命运的不公，但他们却都是面带笑容的。这里的护工阿姨与各方前来的志愿者无一不付出了百分百的耐心和努力。这个世界原本冰冷，是爱令它温暖，但仍需更多的爱。”

Message from Bedivere Ruan: Although the children are plagued by diverse diseases, the children had been taken care with 较高概率 patience and efforts from the nurses here and volunteers from all over the world. It feels like such a warm place where the children can feel like home.

杜同学：“在上海生命之家，保育人员为孩子们准备了干净、营养的餐食，细致的照料，将他们沐浴在爱中。这些孩子每一个都很特别，虽然他们都是孤儿，但这些孩子在这里能得到很好的照顾。每个人生下来，都是幸运的，我们应该珍惜当下。”

Message from Nastya Du: Shanghai Healing Home provides a home-like environment that meets children’ physical, emotional and developmental needs. Although they are orphans, these children can be well taken care of here.

何同学：“在回去的路上，车窗外的景色匆匆掠过，可孤儿院里那些孩子的样子却无法一闪而过，而是定格在我的脑海中，沉淀出了一种疼痛。我们知道，我们是多么的幸福，我们在幸福的同时更应该伸出一只手，把幸福传播给那些生活在艰难中的孩子们，还有其他的人们。”
