上海莱克顿学校一直保持着每周一举办周晨会的活动。在学校的皮尔蓬特剧院里，学生们都会穿着正装校服出席。在周晨会上，校长Clayton先生及学术副校长Parrish先生会发表讲话，分享莱克顿近期的情况、活动;指导学生的学习、生活;或是交流日常的心得和课程跟进。举办周晨会意在鼓励学生在每一个新的星期都能以饱满的精神状态迎接接下来的挑战。

In Lucton, we have weekly assembly on every Monday at the Pierrepont Theatre. All the students are required to attend and dressed in formal school uniforms. Usually, the assembly starts with the speech by the Headmaster, Mr. Clayton, and Deputy Head Academics, Mr. Parrish about the latest information, activities and some advices for their studies and daily life, which aims to encourage and inspire students to learn new knowledge and keep progressing in all aspects.

周晨会

在莱克顿学生会成立后，周晨会改由学生会全权负责。周晨会的内容也逐渐丰富起来。学生们会轮流进行乐器表演;分享来自世界各地的假期活动;集体做游戏、读诗歌。周晨会上的互动更多了，老师和同学们的参与感也增强了。今天，我们就来一起探索一下，莱克顿的周晨会上，发生过哪些有趣的事吧。

After the establishment of the Student Leadership Team, students have taken charge of the weekly assembly. They took turns playing instruments, sharing their travels on holidays and playing games together, which drastically increase the interaction between teachers and students.

周晨会之活动记录

在春季新学期的**场周晨会上，学生们向大家总结汇报了假期的活动情况。首先，在贵州支教的学生们介绍了支教的过程，他们认真地准备课程并了解当地的儿童情况，教学过程非常顺利。在这次执教过程中，学生们深刻地感受到了教育的意义，呼吁大家关注贫困地区的孩子。而后，参与了USAD大赛的学生们则向大家介绍了USAD大赛，并讲述了参赛感受，竞赛对学生们而言既有趣又辛苦，尽管过程不易，但是每个学生付出的努力都有所收获。

In the first assembly of this term, students summarized their holiday activities, such as a voluntary teaching in Guizhou and USAD China 2018 competition in Chengdu. During the holiday, some of students travelled to a remote village of Guizhou, teaching some periods to local children for the purpose of appealing to the importance of education. In the following part, those who attended the USAD China 2018 competition introduced the whole contest and share their feelings. Although it was challenging for them to prepare, their efforts and dedications are worthy of praise.

周晨会之学术副校长演讲

莱克顿学校结合了英式教育精髓和中国初心两种文化。同时接受着两种文化熏陶的莱克顿人汲取到了不同的精华。选择成长为怎样的人是每个学生都将会面临的问题。为此，学术副校长Parrish先生在周晨会上发表了演讲。“我们需要一些词汇用来定义我们自己，并提醒自己该如何去做。”副校长这样讲述。“同理心、有勇气、责任感、能动性、尊重、诚信。”这六个词语是副校长提供给学生们的，其中对他们的期望不言而喻。之后，他为学生们讲解了中英的语言文化差异，并带领学生们进行了中英互译的游戏。校长Clayton先生也在学生身边一一指导。

Lucton School Shanghai integrates essence of British education with Chinese heart. Luctonians are simultaneously influenced by two great cultures. During their growing up, they might feel distressed about what kind of person they want to be. As Deputy Head of Academics, Mr. Parrish said, ‘we need to decide on the words and language we use to define ourselves and remind ourselves of the ways in which we should act.’ And ‘compassion’, ‘courage’, ‘responsibility’, ‘initiative’, ‘respect’, ‘integrity’ is provided whilst sharing differences between Chinese and English language and culture for the students.

周晨会之学生俱乐部

学生俱乐部的组织创建都是由学生会牵头策划的。在连续三周的周晨会上，学生俱乐部经历了创建、召集成员及正式启动的过程。

在召集成员的过程中，每位俱乐部的负责人都登台给大家讲解了俱乐部的主题及活动内容。其中*括桌游部、足球部、篮球部、舞蹈部等等。他们生动的演讲，吸引了每一个同学，大家争相报名，期望能加入心仪的俱乐部。在学生俱乐部正式成立后，学生会会长表示，他会帮助每个俱乐部友好、健康地发展，并希望未来俱乐部能代表莱克顿学校参加比赛。

The foundation of the student clubs was created by the Student Leadership Team. In three consecutive weekly assemblies, the student clubs had gone through the process of founding, recruiting and launching.

During the recruiting, the Heads of each clubs demonstrated the theme and content of their club respectively, including the PRBG board game club, football club, basketball club, dancing club etc. Their attractive presentations caught eyes from everyone, recruiting lots of students. In the end, President of Student Leadership Team stated that the Student Leadership Team would help clubs to develop and show the unique talents of Luctonians.

周晨会之压力管理讲座

在IGCSE考试正式开始之际，学校的生活与学生关爱部门邀请了艺术干预专家陈老师为学生们做了一场有关考试压力管理的讲座。在演讲中，陈老师为大家讲解了压力的来源以及如何控制、管理压力和如何调节面对考试时的负面情绪。学生们合作进行了人体雕塑活动，并制定了接下来的复习计划。学校一直努力在各个方面给予学生帮助与支持，相信他们能更从容地面对接下来的考试。

As the IGCSE examinations are coming, we have been attaching the greatest concentration on giving fully support to each student. An Art Therapist, Miss. Chen, was invited to give a lecture on stress management for the students, scientifically explain the sources of stress, the methods of controlling and managing the stress and adjusting the negative emotion when preparing for the exams, which deepened their understanding of stress and coping skills with ‘Human Clay Activity’ and ‘SMART’ revision plan for upcoming exams.

在最近一场的周晨会上，学术副校长Parrish先生为学生们推荐了一本书——《异类》，在这书中，作家格拉德威尔对社会中那些成功人士进行了分析。“异类”是指做事不同寻常的人们，想要了解他们为什么与众不同，除了考虑先天条件之外也必须注意他们的生长环境、所属的文化、祖先的特征。副校长表示，希望同学们在阅读这本书的同时，认真考量自身，找到真实的自我，才能在人生道路上把握到属于自己的机会。
