上海莱克顿学校自开学以来，已经与学生、家长们共同走过了一年的时光。在这一年中，莱克顿人拥有最美好的回忆;书写了灿烂的篇章;未来更是着充满无垠的希望。回首过往，不忘初心。我们以一为史，以一为誓，以一为始，继往开来。

2019年6月20日晚，上海莱克顿学校举办了盛大的颁奖典礼。在欢声笑语中，校长登台欢迎了到来的所有家长和朋友。在丰盛的晚宴和精彩的魔术表演之后，便是这日的重头戏——颁奖典礼。

Since September 3rd, 2018. Lucton school Shanghai has accompanied students and parents for one year. This year, we come from zero, but created infinitely memories; This year, we grow from zero, but enjoyed abundant experiences; This year, we develop from zero, but start with the boundless future. From zero to one, we take the first step, we continue our dream fearlessly.

Lucton school Shanghai held an Annual Awards Ceremony on the evening of June 20th, 2019. Headmaster delivered a warmly welcome speech for all the parents and students. After a wonderful dinner and a fantastic magic show, the awards ceremony was coming soon.

莱克顿共为学生们准备了八条荣誉领带，象征着莱克顿的精神和品质，以及作为莱克顿人的风貌。荣誉领带获奖者将在下一个学年佩戴这条领带，这是身份和荣誉的象征。同时，莱克顿希望其他学生可以以他们为榜样，追求成功，精进卓越，团结向上。

As a symbol of glory for students, eight ties will be awarded during this evening’s ceremony. Ties symbolize the spirit and character of Lucton. Successful recipients are required to wear the tie in the next academic year in order to represent the pride and community. We are expecting that such glory can encourage their peers to follow suit in seeking success, striving for excellence and creating a sense of togetherness.

服务精神奖

莱克顿人当拥有服务精神。我们深入了解那些需要帮助的个人、社区和环境所面临的问题及挑战，充分发挥我们的社会和环境责任感。该奖项以英国莱克顿学校创始人约翰·皮尔蓬特先生命名。他的一生善举无数，其中*括创建英国莱克顿学校和捐助伦敦历史悠久的巴茨医院。为鼓励学生拥有助人为乐和先人后己的优秀品质，我们将这条领带授予一位积极为集体做出贡献的学生——张云伊同学，她的服务精神一直在激励着每一位莱克顿人。

服务精神奖

Luctonians embrace a spirit of Service. We promote responsible social and environmental action that is based on a deep understanding of challenges and issues faced by individuals, communities and environments in need of support. This award is named after the founder of Lucton school UK, Mr. John Pierrepont. The building of Lucton School was only one of his good works and he also contributed significantly to St Bartholomews Hospital in London. This award is given to honor students who are making significant contributions to their community through their time, actions, talents and dedication. We awarded this tie to a student who worked for the common good while putting the needs of others first— Miss Judy Zhang, whose spirit of service inspires everyone in Lucton.

冒险精神奖

莱克顿人要拥有冒险精神。我们寻找机遇发展和突破自己, 克服前进道路上的挫折和障碍，在过程中，我们会发现自己的能力远远超过自己的想象。该奖是以扬·皮恩科沃夫斯基命名的。他是一位被提名国际安徒生奖，波裔英国儿童书作者、插画家、作家和设计师。莱克顿希望学生们能够释放出能量，不畏困难，不断变成更好的自己。因此我们将这条领带授予一位安安静静的学生——徐翔同学。他总是自信而谦逊的看着你，准确而迅速地回答课上的问题。

冒险精神奖

Luctonians embrace a spirit of Adventure. We seek out opportunities to stretch and push ourselves, overcoming setbacks and obstacles along the way, in order to discover we are capable of much more than we thought. This award is named after Jan Pienkowski, who was a nominee for the international Hans Christian Andersen Award, a Polish-British author of children's books—as an illustrator, as a writer, and as a designer. We awarded this tie to a student who was becoming in a confident but humble way, being a good friend and support to his peers, a model Luctonian—Mr. Sean Xu. He had amazing transformation and overcoming significant obstacles along the way.

国际主义精神奖

莱克顿人要拥有国际主义精神。我们理解并尊重维护和发扬民族特性、文化、传统和遗产的必要性，同时，寻求发展国家之间和文化之间相互理解的机会。我们尊重保护和庆祝民族认同，文化，传统和遗产的需要，同时寻求发展国际和跨文化理解的机会。该奖项以威廉·蔡斯命名，他一位拥有全球视野和国际思维的校友。作为具有国际主义精神的榜样，我们将这条领带授予肖欣桐同学，表彰她对中国语言，文化和传统的热情以及在交叉文化理解方面的出色表现。

Luctonians embrace a spirit of Internationalism. We respect the need to preserve and celebrate national identity, cultures, traditions and heritage whilst seeking opportunities to develop international and intercultural understanding. This award is named after William Chase, an alumnus with a global outlook and international mindset. We awarded this tie to a student who has shown her passionate about Chinese language, culture and heritage—Miss Cindy Xiao, with a global outlook and excelled in cross-culture understanding.

领导精神奖

莱克顿人应拥有领导精神。我们认识到一个好的领导人愿意服务他人，主动培养、指导、发展和帮助他人获得进步和成功。该奖以尤斯塔斯·乔瑟姆命名。一位为了营救一位跌落马下的士兵而壮烈牺牲的战士。莱克顿设立该奖项，希望学生们能够具有团队精神，愿意听取他人的意见，并付诸于行动，因此我们将这条领带授予一位能在活动策划组织方面能够和学生会的其他成员通力合作，满怀激情，积极推动决策实施的领导者——张雯祺同学。

领导精神奖

Luctonians embrace a spirit of Leadership. We recognise that successful leaders are driven by a desire to be of service to others and to nurture, guide, develop and help them to improve and succeed. This award is named after Eustace Jotham VC who was an English recipient of the Victoria Cross, the highest and most prestigious award for gallantry in the face of the enemy. We awarded this tie to a student who has worked closely with the rest of the student leadership team in terms of activity planning and organizing—Miss Cathy Zhang, with innovative and passionate in pushing decisions through!

表达艺术奖

艺术具有巨大的价值, 它是全人教育的重要组成部分。学生在学习音乐、戏剧、舞蹈或使用视觉媒体的过程中习得的技能可运用到其他学术领域，并在之后的生活中发挥作用。该奖是以贝塔尼爵士命名的，他是一位英国演员和舞蹈家。我们将这条领带授予一个个头小小，却才华横溢的学生——杜一诺同学。她的微笑温暖了她去到的每个地方，她对艺术的热爱也感染着每一个人。

表达艺术奖

The arts have a great value and are an important component of whole person education. Students who participate in the arts, whether music, drama, dance, or in visual media — acquire skills that transfer to other academic areas and carry forward into adulthood. This award is named after Thane Bettany who is an English actor and former dancer. We awarded this tie to a student with massive talent and a massive heart— Miss Nastya Du. Her smile warms everywhere on campus and you can’t help but buy into their passionate approach to the arts.

体育精神奖

一个人不运动或者不参加体育活动, 他的身体不可能健康强壮。一个好的运动员总是**遵守比赛规则，吸取上级的意见。体育还有助于领导能力、团队协作能力和团队精神的培养。该奖以皇家海军沃恩中校命名。他曾是英国国家橄榄球队队长，率领球队在国内外橄榄球比赛中连连取得佳绩。我们将这条领带授予一位具有竞争力的优秀足球运动员——戴文豪同学。作为我们学校足球队队长，他在本学年带领队员取得了多次胜利。作为一个战绩累累的前锋，他在过往比赛中进球无数。

体育精神奖

A healthy and strong body is not possible without sports and physical activities. A good sportsman always learns to obey the rules of the games and the comments of their superiors. It also teaches them leadership qualities, maintaining teamwork and displaying team spirit. This award is named after Royal Navy Commander, D. B. Vaughan, who not only gained international caps for England Rugby but also captained his country. We awarded this tie to a student who was a competitive and able sportsman with a special talent for football—Mr. William Dai. As captain of the football team, he has been at the forefront of many victories this year.

校长特优奖

莱克顿一直追求全人教育，培养学生不仅在学术上有优异的成就，更要全面发展。设立该奖项是为了鼓励那些表现卓越的在校生。符合该奖项的学生需在学术上取得优异的成绩，并在其他各个方面有突出表现。经过校长及各个老师的推荐、甄选，我们将这两条领带授予了葛云骢同学和冯水一平同学，表彰他们在学术及各个方面的优异表现。

校长特优奖

This award is given to honour students who are the most outstanding students in our school and have achieved a high level academically, combined with a strong overall contribution to the school. After the recommendation and selection by the Headmaster and teachers, we granted the two ties to Mr. Nathan Ge and Miss Sue Feng in recognition of their academic and all-round excellence.

理事学者奖

在9位申请者中，校理事长及校长、副校长等领导，经过慎重的讨论选择了3名表现优异的学生。将该领带授予给奖学金获得者——张宸瑜同学、徐昕彤同学及钱宇文同学。

Managing Governor, Headmaster, Deputy Head Academic and other leaders selected three excellent students after careful discussion among the nine applicants. The tie is awarded to the scholarship winners who qualify for scholarships in various fields—Mr. Andy Zhang, Miss Sophie Xu and Miss Amelia Qian.

理事学者奖

在颁奖典礼上，除了为学生们颁发荣誉领带，莱克顿还准备了魔术、杂技、合唱等精彩纷呈的节目。在整场晚会中，学生、家长及嘉宾们都盛装出席，对莱克顿的颁奖典礼表示极高了的敬意，共同度过了这个隆重并难忘的夜晚。在未来的人生里，莱克顿人将继续携手前行，将莱克顿精神传承下去并发扬光大。
