为支持学生更高效地提升英语语言能力，自上学年起，上海莱克顿学校ESL(英语作为第二语言)团队在全校范围内推行了“英语阅读计划”，并向学生们推荐了阅读平台。对于莱克顿的学生们而言，“英语阅读计划”是一个充满趣味且高效的学习方式。

“英语阅读计划”将英语学习变得灵活有趣，学生通过阅读英文书籍，感受到了英文文化和语言的魅力。他们在汲取书中知识的同时，渐渐掌握了大量的词汇，写作能力也有所提升，英语语言能力也在潜移默化中进步。他们可以参与创作，选择感兴趣的书籍阅读，自主自愿的沉浸在语言学习中。这也正是莱克顿ESL团队推行“英语阅读计划”的初衷。

Since last year, the ESL (English as a Second Language) team has started an English Reading Programme and has recommended a reading platform to students to support them improve their language skills more effectively through an interesting way.

English Reading Programme allows learning flexible and interesting, which enables students to feel the charm of English culture and language. While they gain knowledge from books, they gradually acquire a rich vocabulary, improve writing ability, and improve their English language ability. The purpose of this programme is to get students involved in creating, choosing books they are interested in and immersing in language learning.
