在刚刚过去的上海莱克顿学校研究方法论的课堂上，学生们根据自己小组所做的不同课题，分组远程连线在美国的博士老师，根据他们的课题内容与不同进展，分别和老师们就如何更好的完成自己的研究课题进行了深入的沟通和学习。

两个小组中，一个小组的研究课题主要集中在心理控制与服从之间的关系，他们的指导老师是来自耶鲁大学博士后，哥伦比亚大学临床心理学的博士Michael老师，Michael进行了简短的自我介绍并介绍了自己的研究方向，他针对学生们的问卷设计，就如何选择量表进行了深入的讨论，之后，他根据学生们的研究方向，带着学生们研究如何更好的进行有针对性的文献搜索和阅读。

另一个小组的Joseph老师是加州大学洛杉矶分校的教育学博士，牛津大学教育学硕士，Joseph在了解了他所带领的小组的学生们有着多样的研究兴趣点后，拿出了他特意精心准备的“神器”，一份活泼可爱的PPT，一步一步带着学生们进行讨论，充分启发了每一个学生，与他们沟通如何在研究中契合每个人的兴趣点，逐步引导他们缩小自己的研究方向，并帮助学生们更进一步确认他们的研究课题。在充实的一个半小时的课堂中，学生们和导师共同度过了快乐的研究时光，相信大家对于如何做研究，怎样才是更好的实现研究课题，有了进一步的理解。

Last week, students had a good time by learning with their paired Ph.D. candidates from top universities in the States. One group is interested in learning the relationship between locus of control and obedience, and their mentor Michael is the post-doc from Yale, the Ph.D. Candidate from Columbia University. During their mentor session, Micheal coached students to understand how to find a good measurement for measuring the items that would like to measure. Also, he taught students how to look for good literature that relates to the research topic. The other group, on the other hand, had the mentor Joseph, a Ph.D. candidate from UCLA, Master graduated from the University of Oxford. Joseph used slides to coach students on how to narrow down, frame and formulate their research questions step by step, he provided students a question, guided students to discuss about it, and then reflected together. After 1.5 hours of sessions, both students and PhDs enjoyed a good time together.
