一向尊重学生天性的莱克顿，会给予学生很多自主自由的机会和权利，*括但不仅限于在日常的生活和学习中。莱克顿的学生们擅长安排自己的时间，制定计划，同时他们也渴望放松、表现、释放天性的机会。而万圣节也许就是比较好的契机。

Lucton is an inspirational learning environment for students. We place emphasis on holistic development where every student is cared for, challenged and equipped to live out the distinctive values of the school. At the same time, freedom is also the most important thing for Luctonians!

Each student's nature is respected in Lucton, and we give them sufficient opportunities and rights, including but not limited to daily life and study. Luctonians are good at organizing their time and making plans, but they also crave opportunities to relax and show themselves, which means Halloween is really a wonderful moment for them.

上海莱克顿学校万圣节

这是完全属于孩子们的节日，他们的聪明才智、天马行空的想象、创造力与行动力都得到了释放。万圣节，一个原本以奇装异服、装饰化妆为主题的节日，却也是学生们展现最真实自我的节日。此次莱克顿的万圣节活动，由学生们全权负责，从策划到装饰，从人员安排到主题活动，从游戏规则到场景布置，全部由学生们自己策划。彻底打开青春活力的孩子们为莱克顿带来了一场极尽欢腾的夜晚。

下面是来自学生会成员通讯主管徐昕彤在万圣节的实况报道：

Halloween, which is a party for students, from the planning to the end of the activity is entirely organized by their own. While enjoying Halloween, they also showed their intelligence, unfettered imagination, creativity and efficient execution.

The following is a Halloween report from Sophie Xu, the communication director of the Student Leadership Team:

10月25日晚上，万圣节提前降临在了上海莱克顿学校!在这次的万圣节活动中*含了各种各样不同的活动，其中*括：

On the night of October 25, Halloween has dawned on Lucton School Shanghai in advance! There are many different activities included in the Halloween party, as introduced below:

南瓜饭团制作主题活动

DIY pumpkin rice balls

在这个活动中，同学们可以用模具、米饭、海苔、金枪鱼并选择自己喜欢的酱来做出可爱的南瓜饭团。模具有幽灵的还有南瓜的形状，米饭也有橘色的和白色的可以选择。每个组里的两个队都要选出本队里做得比较好的一个饭团并评选出更好的那一个。不过呢，由于饭团实在太过于好吃，到后来大家就都只顾着做和吃了。根据饭团组**人员张芸伊同学的口述，给她留下最深印象的还是F组。F组一直做饭团、吃饭团很开心，还添了好几次饭，让在场**人员的心情也变得很欢乐!

Participants could use moulds, rice, nori, canned tuna and different sauce provided to make their own cute pumpkin rice balls. There were ghost and pumpkin shaped moulds available for choosing, and you could also choose between orange or white coloured rice to make your rice balls. Every two teams were supposed to vote for the best rice ball of their team and eventually the NPCs would decide which team makes the best rice ball. However, the rice balls were too good for anyone to stop their making and eating and therefore the contest time was cancelled for most of the times. According to our NPC Judy, who was really impressed by the performance of team F, team F kept making and eating rice balls and actually asked for more ingredients several times. Their jolly vibe has even brought happiness to the NPCs!

DIY手制玩偶主题活动

DIY personalized toys

DIY活动在B栋的B102教室举行，活动内容大致就是利用各种各样的材料来装饰白色的小玩具，*括美第奇半身像，暴力熊，小天使雕像…… 可以自由选择自己喜欢的来进行装饰～活动过程中，还有同学以极其大胆的手法创造出了令人十分满意的结果。比如Keelan同学，将自己的雕像整个浸在了颜料罐里面后，又将它放在水罐里涮，最后的成品也意外的很有艺术感!这一手法使DIY组**人员Amelia同学赞叹不已，还极力用它来启发后面来的、面对雕像毫无头绪的同学。

The activity took place at B102 classroom, and it was basically about using all kinds of materials to decorate little white toys like mini-busts, bears, little angels…… One could choose whatever decoration one likes to personalize the toy. During the making process, some participants had come out with great work with extremely bold (creative) techniques. Take our classmate Keelan for example, he firstly dipped his whole toy into a can of paints and then washed it in the water can. The outcome was surprisingly artistic. This technique impressed one of the NPCs Amelia so much that she even tried to use this example to inspire the participants from later that were clueless about what to do.

软弹枪战场主题活动

Soft Air Guns

该活动规则为：两队对战，每位参赛选手的身上都会贴一张名字贴。成功击中一位敌人三次的人可以获得击败者的名字贴。比赛结束获得最多名字贴的选手就是比赛的MVP。据活动人员Shelley同学和Cathy同学的口述，这个活动策划的很成功，看着同学们潇洒飞檐走壁的身影，即使无法参与游戏也觉得饶有趣味。掌声送给此活动NPC的辛劳汗水，在活动后勤勤恳恳地扫了五百发子弹。

The rule of this game is that two teams were fighting against each other; each participant has a name tag on their back and shooting one enemy for three times means you get his/her name tag. The person who has most nametags would be the best player. According to the NPCs of this game, Shelley and Cathy, this game was a blast, and watching their classmates flying all over the room trying to shoot each other made them feel fun and engaged. A huge round of applause for the NPCs of this group for their sweeping up around five hundred bullets after the games.

万圣节活动

目的性鬼屋主题活动

Theme Ghost House

鬼屋的主题为：穿越到一百年后的莱克顿。为了做出荒废的学校的感觉，负责该场地的同学们把整个C栋楼的桌椅都搬出来乱摆在走廊里，还用蜡烛做出了点点星光的感觉。游戏规则为：每一组玩家都必须根据两个线索找到三个宝藏，其中两个宝藏需要钥匙开启，玩家需要自己找到钥匙。不得不提的一点就是该活动的**人员们的服务精神，不仅在前一天晚上就开始装饰鬼屋，竟还能够在中途灯光忽然意外打开的时候依然选择继续吓人。虽然吓人的品质因为灯光的拖累而有所下降，这样优秀的坚持也还是值得来自我们每一个人的赞扬。

The theme of the ghost house was: travelling a hundred years from now to Lucton. To make the environment look like a deserted school, the NPCs of this activity hauled all the tables and chairs out onto the hallway and placed them randomly and used candles to mimic starlight. The rule of this game was to ask a team of players to find three treasures following two clues. Two of the treasures would require keys to open, and the players would have to find the keys themselves. What was worth mentioning was the service spirit of the NPCs of this activity. Not only did they start to decorate the ghost house from the night before, they even managed to keep scaring people when the light got accidently switched on during one of the games. Although the quality of the scaring was very much weakened by the wrong lighting, the excellence of their perseverance was worthy of the praise from every one of us.

电影放映

Horror Movie

电影院设立在体育馆，放的电影是“招魂1”。据参与了该活动的同学(感谢Ashley同学)口述，当时观影气氛很好很恐怖，电影也很恐怖，是一次很棒的体验。

The cinema is located in the stadium and the movie was “The Conjuring 1”. According to one of the audiences (thank you Ashley), the atmosphere was amazing and the movie was well chosen. It was a great experience.

Water Guns

根据一位参与同学(感谢Nicolas同学)的口述，当时战况相当混乱。由于是晚上。看不清谁是谁，只要看到人就会直接喷水。当时的氛围非常欢快，玩到最后甚至于还有同学拿着水瓢泼人，相信每个人都玩得十分尽兴。
