奖学金开放以来，上海莱克顿学校迎来了大批新入学的学生，也接到了众多申请。本届新生中，有四名学生荣获了上海莱克顿学校奖学金。

设立奖学金制度目的是为了表彰学生在综合能力、学术能力和各项能力上的卓越表现，以此促进教育的发展，为人才培养做出的积极贡献。同时，奖学金制度，吸引着各地优秀的学生来到莱克顿就学。

Lucton has welcomed a large number of new students and has received many applications since the scholarship opened for all. This term, there are four of the new students awarded the Lucton scholarship.

Scholarships positively contribute the talent cultivation and further the development of education. They are awarded based upon various criteria of a student, commending the remarkable achievement in a specific field. At the same time, the scholarship attracts outstanding students from all over the world come to Lucton.

Lucton School Shanghai values and follows the philosophy of holistic education. A learner can discover his or her own unique attributes from a true learning experience. We encourage students to pursue the highest standard more than academic, but co-curricular activities, individual interests, interpersonal skills, leadership capacity, self-management capability and social responsibilities. Meanwhile, we cherish the talents in terms of academic and other fields and have established different types of scholarships to promote their further development.

体育奖学金Sport Scholarship

Steven Li 是一个兴趣广泛的少年，他喜爱艺术、音乐、摄影、运动，其中最擅长的运动就是击剑了。他历时6年时间学习男子花剑，成绩突出，已经成为中国击剑协会认证大众一级运动员。学习击剑以来，他获奖无数，在2018全国击剑俱乐部联赛U16B上，他在积分榜上达到了**名，赢得了全国总冠军的殊荣。

Steven Li is a boy with a wide range of interests. He loves art, music, photography and sports, among which fencing was one of his great interests and he is really good at it. He studied men's foil for six years and achieved outstanding results. Steven has become a first-class athlete certified by the Chinese Fencing Association. Since learning fencing, he has won numerous awards. In the U16B of the 2018 Chinese Fencing Association Club League, he ranked first on the scoreboard and won the championship.

音乐奖学金Music Scholarship

Tiffany Zhao是一个性格外向的女孩子，曾在学校里的学生会文艺部**，具有良好的社交能力和团队协作能力。她能说一口流利的英语，还曾将法语作为主修的外语课程，在莱克顿的入学考试中，她取得了非常优秀的成绩。赵伊湄的兴趣很广泛，喜爱音乐、运动、戏剧。她擅长花样滑冰，是亚洲花样滑冰协会会员。作为音乐奖学金的获得者，她最擅长的乐器是扬琴，一种古朴的中国乐器，她也是上海市学生艺术团民乐一团成员之一。

Tiffany Zhao is an outgoing girl with very outstanding results in the Lucton entrance exam. She used to work in the art department of the student union, and she has excellent social skills and teamwork skills. Tiffany speaks English fluently and has taken French as her main foreign language course. She has broad interests, including music, sports and drama. Tiffany is good at figure skating and is a member of the Asian Figure Skating Association. As a recipient of the music scholarship, she is very good at playing the dulcimer, and she is also a member of the folk music group of the Shanghai Student Art Troupe.

学术奖学金Academic Scholarship

Emily Yu成绩优异，兴趣广泛，爱好音乐、跑步、阅读，擅长书法，钢琴。她曾在第十五届星星杯全国青少年书画作文摄影作品大展中以出色的书法作品而获得银奖;在2015国际菁英少年艺术节暨第四届澳门钢琴邀请赛中荣获四手连弹组铜奖。在莱克顿的入学考试中，她更是取得了非常优秀的成绩。入学以来，余沺沺性格沉稳内敛，安静认真，无论是学术课程、艺术表演、体育运动，她都有着出色的表现。

Emily Yu is an excellent student with extensive interests in music, running and reading. She is good at calligraphy and piano. She won the silver award for outstanding calligraphy at the 15th Star Cup National Youth Composition. In the 2015 International Elite Youth Art Festival, she won the bronze award in the four-handed group of the 4th Macau piano Invitational Competition. Emily got excellent results in the entrance exam and she worked hard in Lucton and performed excellently in academic courses, performing arts, sports.

在莱克顿的入学考试——UKiset考试中，获得5、9、9的成绩，即词汇量(5)达到英国同龄人的中等水平，数学(9)及逻辑推理(9)能力达到英国同龄人高等级水平。

在UKiset的剑桥英语考试中，英文的听说读写成绩均达到180，即类比雅思7分。

入学后，在期中考试中，每单科成绩几乎均达到年级前三名，其中半数为最高分。

Almost all the scores of each subject reached the top three in Lucton, half of which were the highest scores.

Lucas Chen is a vibrant boy, who enjoys playing football, swimming and acting. He has received a level 3 certificate in speech and drama from Trinity College London. As one of the recipients of an academic scholarship, he did extremely well in the entrance exam. In the face to face interview with the headmaster, he won the headmaster's approval because he answered in English fluently and confidently.
