关于疫情最新进展的通知

上海市教委于上周二公布的最新消息指出本市中小学在线教育自3月2日起开始，学生不到校。后续到校学习时间将视疫情情况，经科学评估后确定;同时，可能出现各年级错峰开学的情况。

鉴于当前疫情防控捷报频传，我们非常希望在疫情好转的情况下尽快回归校园。当前形势下，很难预测人群大量流动可能产生多大的后果。希望家长在正式开学前的这段时间一如既往的支持和配合我们。

我们的学术团队一如既往认真为各年级学生备课，初步的上课反馈也很积极。初次尝试大规模的在线 教学不可避免会出现一些小问题，我们的学术副校长Mr Parrish在最近给各位家长的信件中提供了一些方法，供家长协助我们一道解决问题。与此同时，我们也在研究一些应急方案，以确保十一年级和十二年级学生在备考、考试成绩和大学申请上不被疫情影响。

Dear Lucton Community,

RE: Coronavirus Outbreak Update

Last Tuesday's official update from the Shanghai Education Commission has clearly indicated that only online education is to continue from March 2nd. All future return dates for schools will be based on regular scientific assessments of the epidemic situation and are likely to be staggered with certain year groups being allowed to return before others.

We are hopeful that we will be able to re-open the school before the end of March as there continues to be positive news regarding infection rates in the media especially. It is of course impossible to predict what will happen once people start migrating onmass, so the situation does remain relatively fluid and uncertain. We ask for your continued support on this matter.

The academic team are working hard to deliver quality online zoom lessons to the students of all year groups and early feedback has been positive. However, for the first time trying large-scale online learning, problems are inevitable. Mr. Parrish has recently sent some guidance on how you can support us with this as we move forward. We are also exploring a number of contingency plans and arrangements to ensure exam groups in Year 11 and 12 are not disadvantaged when it comes to exams, grades and university applications.
