☑ Oxford AQA, Edexcel授权的IGCSE和A-Level考点

IGCSE and A-Level Examination Centres authorized by Oxford AQA and Edexcel

作为一所英式国际学校，上海莱克顿选用的是英式教育课程体系即IGCSE 和 A-Level。IGCSE和 A-Level的课程内容深入，考察知识范围广，知识点多，能很好地反映学生的学术潜力，因此IGCSE和A-Level在全球大学中获得广泛认可,有利于学生们将来在世界范围内选择心仪的大学。为此莱克顿拿到了Oxford AQA,和Edexcel授权的IGCSE和A-Level考点资格。

As a British style international school, Lucton offers the UK educational system — IGCSE and A-Level, which contents are in-depth with a wide range of knowledge, and can reflect the academic potential of students. Therefore, the results of IGCSE and A-Level are widely recognized in universities around the world. Lucton obtained the qualifications of IGCSE and A-LEVEL examination centres authorized by Oxford AQA and Edexcel.

Edexcel——英国爱德思国家职业学历与学术考试机构，是英国**的颁证机构。它所提供的学术资格*括GCSES，IGCSE和A-Levels课程体系，英国本土大多学生参加的考试由Edexcel制定并颁发证书。

Edexcel — A qualification brand for academic and generation qualifications from Pearson, which is the UK's largest awarding organisation offering academic, including GCSES，IGCSE and A-Level. Examinations for most students in the UK are developed and issued by Edexcel.

Oxford AQA是由牛津大学出版社与英国**的考试局AQA历时三年联营组建的“牛津AQA国际考试局”， AQA也是英国三大颁证机构之一，以及A-Level、 GCSE最新课程与考试改革标准的领衔制定者。

Oxford International AQA Examinations (Oxford AQA) — A joint venture between Oxford University Press, a department of the University of Oxford, and AQA, the UK's leading academic awarding body.

IGCSE每年有夏冬季两次考试，分别在5、6月和11、12月。A-Level 的考试将由所属的考试委员会分别于每年5-6月和10-11月在全球统一组织。在2019年5-6月，我校11年级的学生已经参加了2019年度IGCSE考试。

The IGCSE has two exams each summer and winter, in May, June, November and December. The A-Level exam is organized by its examination committee from May to June and from October to November every year. From May to June 2019, Year 11 students of Lucton have already taken the IGCSE exam.

Examination Centre of American Computer Science League Exam Centre

美国计算机科学联赛起源于美国硅谷，拥有39 年的历史，是美国历史悠久的中小学生计算机编程赛事之一。该比赛获得了美国国家中学校长联盟NASSP与美国计算机科学教师协会的官方认证和推荐，同时获得了如谷歌、Adobe、No Starch Press、O'Reilly Media、Pearson、Pragmatic Bookshelf、and Wolfram 等著名高科技和教育企业的支持。随着各国日益重视编程教育，每年来自美国、加拿大、欧洲、非洲和亚洲的众多中小学生都踊跃参加到该竞赛中。

2018年12月，我校参赛学生与来自其他学校的竞争对手曾一同在莱克顿参加该竞赛。

The American Computer Science League (ACSL) originated in the Silicon Valley of the United States. It is one of the oldest computer science competitions with 39 years of history. ACSL is approved and authenticated by the National Association of Secondary School Principals (NASSP) and the Computer Science Teachers Association. It is sponsored and supported by Google, ADOBE and other advanced technology companies. With the increasing emphasis on Programming Education, there are many students in the United States, Canada, Europe, Africa and Asia are participating in the competition. In December 2018, our students took part in the competition in Lucton together with competitors from other schools.

☑ CAT澳大利亚信息数学竞赛考点

Examination Centre of Computational and Algorithmic Thinking

澳大利亚信息数学竞赛是由澳大利亚数学联合会主办的，比赛旨在发掘学生的计算机编程潜力，专注于培养学生的逻辑思维。比赛适合学习任何数学课程的学生。CAT侧重于培养学生的计算能力和算法思维，不需要学生掌握任何计算机编程知识或编程语言。该竞赛，让莱克顿的学生们有机会与来自全球不同国家的数学及编程爱好者共同竞技，锻炼自己的逻辑思维能力。

2019年4月我校作为澳大利亚信息数学竞赛(简称CAT)的考点，顺利承办了该场考试，其中有两位莱克顿的学生参加。我校学生徐翔在该竞赛中，获得了三等奖。

Computational and Algorithmic Thinking (CAT) is hosted by the Australian Mathematics Trust (AMT), whose purpose is to enrich the teaching and learning of mathematics for students of all standards. CAT competition focuses on the skills behind computer programming and algorithm design, but does not require any specific knowledge of programming or programming languages. Students could improve their logic thinking by competing with math and programming enthusiasts from different countries around the world.

In April 2019, as an exam centre for CAT, the school held the exam successfully. There are two Luctonians participated in the test. Congratulations to Sean Xu won the third prize in this competition.

☑ COMC加拿大数学奥赛考点

Examination Centre of Canadian Open Mathematics Challenge

加拿大数学奥赛是加拿大排名靠前的全国数学竞赛，其为加拿大奥数国家队首轮选拔赛。旨在鼓励学生探索、发现和学习更多关于数学和解决问题的知识。主办方加拿大数学**的核心宗旨是促进数学研究，帮助改进中小学的数学教学，鼓励支持数学和数学教育的发展。该竞赛成绩能成为非常权威的数学能力证明，为将来申请北美理工科专业增加竞争优势。

2018年11月，经过考试委员会官方授权，上海莱克顿学校已正式成为此项比赛的考点之一。成功地举办了2018年度加拿大数学奥林匹克竞赛。我校参赛的学生中，有两位同学徐翔和葛云骢获得了铜奖。
