Q：您在平时怎么协调**和家庭的关系，还有您的业余爱好是什么?

A:I am fortunate enough to love my job at North Cross! I have over six years of teaching experiences from the UK to Africa and I have never felt more at home than I do in Shanghai. I studied British Literature at University and fell in love with poetry, novels and all kinds of plays from William Shakespeare to J. K Rowling. Therefore, teaching and increasing my students understanding of my chosen subject is something that I enjoy! So my work feels as a hobby in itself. Outside of the classroom I enjoy hitting the gym, playing Badminton and Tennis, I am currently in the Changping Tennis team and we train a lot. I dedicate my time between work, sports, Church and eating accordingly as I believe I have great time management skills.

Q：您如何帮助学生更好地进行英语学习的?

A:My personality is the key aspect in the classroom. I create a fun working environment. The class is lively, interesting and every student pays full attention in my class. To improve the lower ability students’ English, I provide a workshop during their lunch break that improves their English-speaking skills.

A:I feel satisfied with all my lessons throughout the year. Students’ knowledge and understanding of English Literature increases dramatically over the year and it’s a joy to see their improvement.

Q：借鉴您当年读书时候的学习方法，有什么可以分享给学生的?

A:I adopted the studying hard method. I believe in reviewing the work that I was handed by the teacher, re writing and focusing on anything that I didn’t understand. I would work hard to get an A* in every subject and if there was any difficulty, I would arrange a meeting with the teacher to ensure a further understanding of the subject.

A:Be yourself as everyone else is already taken. - Oscar Wilde.

Every teacher has their own style of teaching. I believe in a fun environment where every student participates and is engaged in my class. I have confidence in myself to improve every students grade from a C to an A* and I wish that every student would have the same belief in themselves.
