在这里学什么？The specialization in Studio Art is interdisciplinary, students can focus in one specific area of focus or expand into other areas of research. Students choosing a specific focus area may still take courses across studio disciplines, but “InterMedia” is intended to be an integrated focus that combines two or more broad disciplines, including:
The program is structured to ensure a broad and balanced integration of media, processes and concerns allowing a rich combination of tradition and innovation. Engagement with disciplines outside of Art & Design and within the local, national, and international community is also encouraged, expected and supported. The hallmark of the department is its commitment to diverse ideas and approaches to art that foster an experimental attitude in keeping with contemporary art practice.

为来自中国的学生设计 Applicants for admission to the UWM Graduate School must have the following: A baccalaureate degree or its equivalent as determined by the UWM Centre on International Education, from a regionally accredited institution, completed before the first term of enrolment in the Graduate School. Students applying to approved integrated bachelor’s/master’s programs are exempt from this requirement, A minimum cumulative undergraduate grade point average (GPA) of 2.75 on a 4.0 scale, or an equivalent measure on a grading system that does not use a 4.0 scale. TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) results with a minimum required score of 79 on the Internet-based TOEFL (IBT) and a minimum recommended sub-score of 18 in each skill). IELTS (International English Language Testing System) results with a minimum required score of 6.5, with minimum recommended sub-score of 6.0 in each skill.课程信息
