专业概况
在这里学什么?Developed in response to the increasing demand for teachers and practitioners trained in best practices for the education and treatment of individuals with autism and related disabilities, the Master of Science in Applied Behavior Analysis at Western New England University will give working professionals the skills to fill this void. Through a combination of coursework and supervised practical experiences, students completing this program will earn a master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis and meet the Behavior Analysis Certification Board (BACB) requirements for taking the exam to become Board Certified Behavior Analysts.
One of the strengths of the program is our partnership with the prestigious New England Center for Children to offer this program to faculty and staff on their campus.
Through a combination of coursework and supervised practical and research experiences, the aim of the Master's degree program is to train scientist-practitioners in application of behavior analysis toward solving human behavior problems of societal importance (e.g., autism and related disabilities). Students will learn to apply empirically-supported assessment, teaching, and intervention strategies and to analyze the effects of their teaching and intervention programs.
Note: International students who have been admitted for Fall 2020 and are unable to travel to the US may defer their admission to Spring 2021.
