专业概况

Technological innovations are expanding rapidly in telecommunication, medicine, energy, and manufacturing. Whether you're looking to protect intellectual property for a new phone app or working with a pharmaceutical company to get a breakthrough medical protocol approved by the FDA, companies and law firms are looking for people who possess expertise in both engineering and law. The accelerated Six-year Engineering/Law program at Western New England University will give you the technical and legal education to take your career in many exciting directions.

CURRICULUM

General Education and Engineering requirements fill the schedule during the first three years of the program. During the fourth year, students will be completing their BS in Engineering and begin taking classes at the School of Law. These law classes are offered in the evening so there is no conflict with the engineering courses. The summer following senior year is spent finishing up the requirements of the first year of law school and puts the student on track to complete the law degree in just two additional years. These final two years of the program follow the standard School of Law timetable.

Note: International students who have been admitted for Fall 2020 and are unable to travel to the US may defer their admission to Spring 2021.
