上海新和中学国际部2016年毕业典礼：我们毕业了

Lights, Cameras...Graduation!

Graduating students marching in with parents at their sides.”

伴随着鲜花和掌声，十二年级的同学们挽着家长，缓缓走入毕业典礼会场。

This is a celebration of achievement and one of Humanity's greatest talents: the pursuit of knowledge. Bulbs flash as announcers lead in the graduates with a path of words and applause.

这是同学们收获成功的时刻，但是求知路漫漫其修远矣，众生们将远赴重洋继续他们的求索之路。

We are gathered to send offthe 12th graders to the USA, university and the

beginning of their adult lives.This marks a pivotal moment in any person's

life-an increase in independence,responsibility and an opening of the world's gates.

十二年级的同学们即将开启他们求学的新篇章，在新的国度他们也必将进一步完善现代人格素养：独立和责任。

You, NCXH’s future graduating classes and future innovators, will experience the thrill and accomplishment that these students feel now.

Parents, students and teachers heard from Principles and Teachers—inspirational words wrapped in the beauty and fluidity of the Chinese language. I can not understand the words, but I can feel the emotion in the ups and downs of speech，the rhythm that is inherent to all languages when spoken with hope and optimism.

校长，陈旭博士，依次上台致辞，对同学们顺利毕业表示祝贺，并以长者的身份给了同学们一些人生建议。

We are also treated to some inspirational words from the students’parents, like a parting wisdom to the newly minted academics.

家长代表是陈婧璇的父亲陈强先生，他讲述了自己孩子在高中时代的一些点滴。父母一定是最心疼孩子的。他说，孩子在国外读书，最重要的不是学习有多好，最重要的是安全健康。而且记得要在学习之余多看看父母。班主任Emily老师表示，孩子们能有现在的成就，要感谢老师，更要感谢父母。她鼓动同学们给父母一个拥抱。两代人相拥的场面十分感人。

Victor gave a considered and well received speech to his fellowstudents; the claps and applause are as numerous as Victor’s words. He even regaled the English speaking crowd with an additional speech.

学生代表Victor 生动有趣地讲述了自己高中时代的生活，*括当时的小叛逆，不愿读书等等。他的演讲引得台下的老师同学们笑声连连。不过，在欢笑的同时，更多的是对过去的释怀和面对未来的勇气。

We see lots of well-wishes from the teachers and leaders Wu and Lucht.

国际部领导吴老师和Lucht博士以及各位老师都表达了他们对毕业生的期许和美好祝愿。

Miya, from 9th grade, performed a touching and lovely dance tribute.Just Lovely!

九年级的张馨悦多才多艺，她迈着轻盈的舞步、踏着欢快的节奏翩翩起舞，时而转圈、时而换位。轻盈的舞步、赏心悦目的音乐博得在场观众阵阵掌声。

毕业典礼接近尾声，陈旭博士为同学们一一颁发毕业证书并合照。同学们以比较好的姿态迎接了高中时代的结束。
