专业概况

The economics major offered at the College is designed to prepare students for positions as economic and statistical analysts in business, government and nonprofit organizations, and for the teaching profession. In addition, it provides a strong foundation for graduate study and research in the fields of economics, business, public policy and law.

Learning outcomes

With a bachelor's degree in economics, students will be able to:

• Demonstrate mastery of fundamental business knowledge and practices.
• Possess analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Effectively communicate within a business environment.
• Use information technology to support business analysis and operations.
• Recognize, evaluate and resolve ethical issues, both personally and organizationally.
