专业概况

在这里学什么？

The Bachelor of Arts with majors in Secondary Education and Political Science provides students with a broad background in political science. Students who successfully complete the program are prepared to pursue secondary school teaching, graduate school, or an immediate career in a professional field.

Political Science majors will develop an understanding of international and cross-cultural issues. Students also learn to think critically and evaluate political developments from both an observational and theoretical standpoint. Then they take courses specifically designed to help them become excellent educators.

The degree provides necessary training, credentials and opportunities for a career in teaching in grades 7-12, and possibilities for work in education-related and other fields, such as public service and political communication. Some graduates have gone on to get post-graduate degrees in education, law, political science or other fields.

为来自中国的学生设计 To be admitted to an undergraduate degree program as a regular freshman student, you must be a graduate from an approved or accredited high school (GED certificate may not be used for admission). Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) score of 61 (iBT-Internet-Based Test) or 500 (Paper-Based Test), International English Language Testing System (IELTS - must be academic version) with an equivalency score of 6. Pearson Test of English (PTE) Academic with an equivalency score of 57.
