The Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice with a Concentration in Human Services prepares you to work with at-risk populations in fields such as community service, mental health and social work. You will develop the knowledge and skills to provide hands-on assistance to individuals dealing with personal and social challenges. By evaluating crisis situations and making ethical judgments, you will learn how to conduct individual and family assessments. You will explore lifespan family services, non-profit management, client and colleague communication, and case management.

What You'll Learn

In our BA in Criminal Justice/Human Services program, available **** online, you’ll gain an understanding of topics such as client assessment, substance abuse and social welfare policy. You will also explore societal problems from an interdisciplinary perspective, including the roles of law enforcement and the court system, and learn how to evaluate crisis situations.
