The Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science offers comprehensive training in a variety of disciplines including Biology, Chemistry, and Geography. Students will be prepared for careers with government agencies, non-profit organizations, and businesses, as well as for graduate studies. Required classes provide both a firm scientific foundation and an environmental context for the science. Additionally, the major is characterized with extensive hands-on field and laboratory experiences as well as a required internship. Several electives provide an opportunity for students to customize their degree.

This is an interdisciplinary major, and it does not require a minor.

为来自中国的学生设计 Applicants must currently be a junior or senior in high school (with or without college credits), or have graduated high school and have taken no college courses. We strongly recommend high school students take a rigorous college preparatory curriculum prior to enrolling at SVSU. The primary core includes: 4 years of English; 3 years of mathematics (through second year algebra); 3 years of natural sciences (at least two years of biology, chemistry, or physics); 3 years of social sciences; 2 years of the same foreign language. Minimum Language Requirements: Minimum GPA: 2.0; TOEFL- IBT: 61; IELTS: 5.5; PTE: 45.
