Earn Your Bachelor of Science in Finance

The B.S. in Finance program focuses on financial management related to the raising and investing of capital consistent with the goals of an organization, and also covers topics related to personal investing. Through the program, you will: Prepare to begin your career as finance professional Develop knowledge and problem-solving skills in corporate finance, investments, financial markets, international finance and private wealth management Learn to solve problems using quantitative methods Apply theory and skills to practical applications including financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, investment management, capital budgeting and risk management Effectively conduct finance research Understand how legal, regulatory and ethical environments affect business decision-making Demonstrate effective written communication skills Learn to use finance-related technology Build skills related to time management, collaboration and punctuality Gain real-world experience during an internship Have the opportunity to work with faculty to conduct meaningful research
