What will I study?

The curriculum includes courses in all aspects of criminal justice including the causes of crime, understanding the nature of serial killers and the work of criminal profilers, terrorism, capital punishment, criminal law, policing, corrections and private security.

Will I have internship opportunities?

The Criminal Justice Internship Course, CJ 390, may be a 3 credit or a 6 credit course depending on the hours committed. This is a practicum. Students are assigned to work in a criminal justice agency. The site may be a public or private criminal justice agency. Students may choose the area in which to intern. The internship supervisor would then seek an appropriate placement.
