专业概况

From creating the latest smart phones to designing the power transmission systems that move electricity from wind-energy farms to our homes, electrical engineers play a vital role in our everyday lives. Take the first step to becoming a leader in this field by enrolling in the Five-year BS in Electrical Engineering/MS in Electrical Engineering program at Western New England University. In your five years of study in the program, you will earn a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Electrical Engineering in less time than it would take to earn them separately, saving you tuition. The strong educational background gained through this program will prepare you to enter the workforce as a highly qualified engineer or continue your education at the PhD level.

CURRICULUM

Graduate students in the program will need to complete a total of 153 credit hours to earn a BS in their engineering field and an MS in Electrical Engineering degree. You will take four core courses in Engineering Management or Project Management, Quality Engineering, Design of Experiments, and System Integration. You will then choose an advisor and course of study for the remainder of your education. Your choices include an all-course option; a project option, which includes advanced coursework and a final presented project; and a thesis option, that involved advanced coursework and a thesis with presentation.

Note: International students who have been admitted for Fall 2020 and are unable to travel to the US may defer their admission to Spring 2021.
