Course description

This is our most flexible course. It’s designed to let you explore modules from across our degree programmes to create your own pathway.

You can choose to focus your studies in a particular specialism through our pathways in American Studies, Film Studies, Gothic Studies and Literary Linguistics among others, or choose from any of the modules to create the degree that best suits your interests.

Teaching

Teaching is by seminars.

Assessment

You’ll be assessed on your essays, coursework and a 15,000-word dissertation.

为来自中国的学生设计 Students who hold a good bachelor degree from a recognised Chinese university will be considered for direct entry to postgraduate diploma or masters programmes. For entry to MBA students need a good bachelor degree from a recognised Chinese university and at least 3 years´ post-graduation work experience. Students must be at least 25 years old by the time the programme starts. Postgraduate applicants are required to achieve a minimum of IELTS 6.5 or equivalent.
