专业概况

在这里学什么？ English and Philosophy are mutually supportive subjects that provide distinct but corresponding methodologies for our understanding of the world. The joint study of English literary cultures (including poetry, prose, theatre, film and creative writing) and Philosophy (including philosophy of language, ethics, metaphysics and logic) will throw you into some of the oldest debates around the very possibility of meaningful life, as well as allowing you to explore and tackle the real-world issues facing our society today, such as global justice, inequality and climate change. Our world-leading research, active student community and civic ethos makes Sheffield one of the world's most exciting places to study English and Philosophy. Our academic staff are experts in their field and use their cutting-edge research to inform their teaching and the content of the modules that you'll study. They're also passionate, dedicated teachers who work tirelessly to ensure their students are inspired.The academic aptitude and practical skills you will develop throughout your degree will give you a huge range of career options after university. Our graduates have gone onto careers in journalism, the charity sector, marketing and communications, theatre and television production, PR, copywriting, publishing, teaching, web development, accountancy, and speech and language therapy, among many other fields.

为来自中国的学生设计 including Mathematics and a scienceIf you are not taking Physics A level and are passionate about studying BEng Aerospace Engineering, find out about our pre-sessional Faculty of Engineering Physics Pathway programme. We would still require AAB from your A levels which must include Maths. Please note that this is only available to applicants who do not require a Tier 4 visa to study in the UK.
