专业概况

The program can be completed in three to five semesters, and must be completed within five years. Courses are available in online, hybrid, and face-to-face formats.

While earning the MS in Technology within the TLC Department, you can focus your coursework on Leadership, Human Resource Development, and/or Technical Communication. In addition, you can earn a graduate certificate in Human Resource Development (HRD).

Housed in the Department of Technology Leadership and Communication (TLC), the Organizational Leadership concentration within the Masters of Science in Technology will prepare you for the dynamics of contemporary workplace leadership.

The concentration in Organizational Leadership can prepare you for a variety of careers such as

• Project Manager or Leader
• Production Control Manager
• Human Resources Professional
• Technical Consultant
• Manufacturing Supervisor
• Technical Sales Manager
• Corporate Trainer or Executive Coach

Learning Goals

You will expand your abilities to:

• Apply theories of OL to workplace contexts
• Draw upon the results of published research to lead organizational change
• Design and conduct workplace research in order to make data-guided decisions

Degree Requirements

In earning the MS in Technology with a Concentration in Organizational Leadership (OL), you will complete three required core courses designed to help you understand quantitative and qualitative data-guided decision-making principles in industry and technology and to develop relevant skills in project management.
