Advance your understanding through our master's degree program in order to find the most thoughtful paths to making a difference in what matters to you.

Online Option

Complete your degree from anywhere in the world

The idea of starting a master’s degree might seem overwhelming, but completing classes online makes it manageable for those who work full time, or don’t live in the Indianapolis area.

You receive the same degree and are taught by the same faculty as the students who come to Indianapolis to learn. Our online degree comes with the same quality, but offers a little more flexibility.

Executive Option

Are you a non-profit executive?

Did you happen into your non-profit work without a formal education in the field? We can help you understand the social, cultural, political, and economic roles played by philanthropy and non-profit organizations.

We draw on decades of expertise and international leadership in philanthropic research, education, practice, and training.

On-campus Option

Immerse yourself in philanthropic studies

The Master of Arts in Philanthropic Studies is the first degree program in the world to focus on the history, culture, and values of philanthropy.

Our M.A. program prepares graduates for leadership roles and deeper, more thoughtful and engaged practice in the non-profit sector.

为来自中国的学生设计 Applicants must have received a bachelor’s degree (or its equivalent) in the United States or another country by the time you enroll at IUPUI. English Language Requirement: TOEFL (iBT) – 79; IELTS Overall Band Score: 6.5; IUPUI Program for Intensive English (PIE) score Level 7.
