在这里学什么?Our graduate program in criminal justice prepares students for leadership positions in the field of criminal justice and provides a strong foundation for students who anticipate advanced study at the doctoral level.
The curriculum offers criminal justice professionals a broad foundation for understanding criminal justice policy. Legal, organizational, political and behavioral frameworks are used to analyze the operation of the U.S. criminal justice system. Students are introduced to advanced knowledge on the nature and causes of crime, the justification and means of social control, the administration of the justice system, and the evaluation of criminal justice programs.
Master of Science in Criminal Justice: Crime Analytics Concentration
Crime analysts possess a specific set of skills and knowledge that go beyond what is gained through the general Masters in Criminal Justice. Students learn specific analytic and methodological techniques used by crime analysts and gain the qualifications necessary to be successful in any crime analysis position.

We have designed the curriculum in partnership with the Milwaukee Police Department Fusion and Intelligence Center and are constantly maintaining and expanding our connections with other agencies across the region and the nation to provide a network of career opportunities for our students. Instructors have skills in GIS, spatial analysis/spatial statistics, data analysis, risk terrain modeling, and crime forecasting and predictive modeling.

为来自中国的学生设计 Applicants for admission to the UWM Graduate School must have the following: A baccalaureate degree or its equivalent as determined by the UWM Centre on International Education, from a regionally accredited institution, completed before the first term of enrolment in the Graduate School. Students applying to approved integrated bachelor’s/master’s programs are exempt from this requirement, A minimum cumulative undergraduate grade point average (GPA) of 2.75 on a 4.0 scale, or an equivalent measure on a grading system that does not use a 4.0 scale. TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) results with a minimum required score of 79 on the Internet-based TOEFL (IBT) and a minimum recommended sub-score of 18 in each skill).
