专业概况

在这里学什么？

The Master of Information Technology provides the knowledge and skills required to design, develop and maintain complex systems using state-of-the-art technologies and methodologies. It will provide you with advanced skills and introduces state-of-the-art techniques used in the design and construction of IT solutions, and research skills needed to assess the effectiveness of a solution or technology.

Students also have the opportunity to apply their skills through industry-related project work, including industry-linked projects for real clients. This project work can demonstrate students’ skills and knowledge to potential future employers.

The program incorporates units from the Graduate Diploma of Information Technology and Graduate Certificate of Information Technology.

Course structure

Students must complete 16 units (200 credit points) including two specialisation units and two electives.

Career opportunities

Graduates will have the knowledge and skills that allows them to undertake professional work at an advanced level in the field of Information and Technologies (ICT). Graduates can also pathway into research and further learning.

Key Information due to COVID-19: Swinburne will continue with its fully online learning for our students. Online learning and assessments continues to be the primary mode of delivery for the majority of the learning activities.
