为期两天的商赛已落幕，对于每位参赛的上海英澳新国际高中Banzer来说，心中都已悄悄播种，萌出对未来的深思与向往，期待与憧憬。

what ASDAN simulation busniess bring to you?

For me, what matters in success is the process other than the results. I took part in the ASDAN business simulation last week. Although our team didn’t perform well at the end, we can still be considered successful. What is important is that I realised during this competition that to succeed means not giving up. At first, I made a mistake in calculation on human resources that we needed for our team. Although I got upset due to my miscalculation, instead of blaming me, all of my teammates encouraged me in the next few rounds. Finally, our ranking went up. This is the power of the team.

Therefore, through the business simulation, I learnt not only how to run a business but also the importance of teamwork.

ASDAN Business Simulation, we, as the high school students, started to realize the importance of teamwork. We actually had a very special and wonderful period of time. We were excited, happy and enjoyable. We did not only get some knowledge about the business, but also the cooperation.

We learned a lot of professional business knowledge from the competition. For example, we carefully calculated marketing investment. Meanwhile, if we look through the whole process of this business simulation, we still have several disadvantages. Such as, we did not have enough perception about marketing reports. Although we are not qualified to enter to the next stage of this business simulation, we still get so many treasured memories from this competition.

In this competition , we managed to simulate real-life business through five rounds of decision-making followed by operations and also pitch deck and large-scale auctions, during which we kept calculating, analysing and considering from multiple perspectives to optimise our sales schemes in order to obtain the maximum net assets. In this activity, we also built up team-spirit and promoted the communication with other schools. For me, it is a great honour for me to have participated in this business competition.

In this business simulation, I learned more about economics and how a company functions. For example, with the deep understanding during the pitch deck, I knew more about how a company would present its products in front of customers. I felt honoured about having been a member of my team.

Presentations are a prominent demonstration of our speaking skills and adaptability. Some people may enjoy to participate in presenting and others are comfortable about other divisions such as designing the posters, making ppt, and doing calculations.

Although there is also some conflicts among our team members, our communication skill and team spirits helped us to work out our differences shortly.

This ASDAN Business Simulation improved our critical thinking, speaking skills, and adaptability, which are all needed in the future. After this first experience, I am sure that we will get better results next time.

In the process of competition, everyone has his own point of view, sometimes there are differences, but ultimately they are unified. In fact, the result of the competition does not account for a large part. The experience we learned in this competition and the way we deal with people can not be replaced by anything.

We feel that it is not easy to become competitive in the business battle field due to our depression about our falling behind and our joy of our catching up in the later round. This experience will help us better understand ourselves in the future growth.

Experience is not events one imagined, but crisis one used to grapple with and come up with conclusion.

Although eventually we did not won any rewards due to too much caution and unawared calcualtion flaws, such activities did helped me on handling accidents with extra confidence and ease.
