Overview

Our Master’s in International Management is for students at the start of their career who share this ambition. Whether you see your future in finance or consultancy; healthcare or civic leadership. This 12-month program creates a rich and diverse learning environment. Students come from multiple disciplines, backgrounds and from all over the world. You will learn from our outstanding faculty and from practical, hands-on sessions with industry experts. You will broaden your horizons with global study trips. And you will develop skills that prepare you for a fulfilling future career. You will also have the opportunity to apply for a double degree and study an additional year at Luiss University of Rome, studying management, corporate finance or global management & politics.

Course detail

Our MSc in International Management is a complete management education. No matter your background, this course is designed to equip you with the key business skills required to carve out a bright future as a global responsible leader. This programme starts earlier than other programmes at King’s Business School with a two week induction starting on Monday 13 September 2021. Attendance is compulsory and will be monitored. During this induction period you will meet your study groups and participate in company visits that form a part of your assessment. Everything you’ll learn at King’s Business School will equip you with the skills, experience and knowledge to realise your full potential. Our students learn practical, personal, intellectual and transferable skills. Through studying our diverse and comprehensive range of modules, we’ll develop your critical thinking, problem solving and decision-making skills within an international context. On top of key skill development, you’ll acquire a comparative understanding of the key systems of management and advanced business strategies, along with the ability to identify the sources of competitive advantages for international companies. Upon completing the programme, you’ll understand strategic management decision making, and have a deep knowledge of the wider economic, political and cultural environments modern business leaders operate in. You’ll also understand the nature and development of different systems of management and be able the analyse the role, strategy and models of the multinational enterprise.

Teaching and assessment

We use lectures, seminars and group tutorials to deliver most of the modules on the course. You will also be expected to undertake a significant amount of independent study. We will use a delivery method that will ensure students have a rich, exciting experience from the start. Face to face teaching will be complemented and supported with innovative technology so that students also experience elements of digital learning and assessment.

Career prospects

Our graduates go on to a range of fields once they complete the MSc, including management consultancies, the financial sector, and large retail and manufacturing organisations, international NGOs.
