Overview

Reflect critically on your professional practice in our one-year programme designed to support ministry and other professional development. Designed for those involved in some kind of ministry whether laity and clergy alike, our course aims to improve the competence of practitioners, assisting you to make a better contribution within your ministry. Teaching takes place at both South Wales Baptist College and St Padarn’s Institute over eight days each semester. You will develop your intellectual competence and research skills, deepening your reflective practice and enhancing pastoral capability.

Course structure

For this full-time Master’s programme you take a total of 180 credits. On successful completion of this taught stage you will progress to your dissertation (60 credits).

Learning and assessment

Teaching takes place at both South Wales Baptist College and St Padarn’s Institute over eight days each semester. Assessment is via essays, assignments (such as book reviews and presentations) and written exams depending on the modules you choose. On enrolment, you are assigned your own Personal Tutor and provided with teaching and learning resources, including Postgraduate Handbook. Additional specific module resources are made available during the programme.

为来自中国的学生设计 You will need successful completion of a relevant four year bachelor's degree from a recognised institution, with grades of approximately 80% or above and possibly also successful completion of a relevant master's course from a recognised institution. IELTS 6.5 overall with a minimum of 5.5 in each subskill.
