专业概况

在这里学什么？ In the combined major in linguistics and communication studies, students learn about the formal structures and analysis of human languages across multiple levels (sounds, words, phrases and sentences, meaning) while simultaneously mastering the fundamentals of effective communication and of communication theory and practice. Students receive extensive training in writing and speaking, both for a technical audience and more generally; and they explore the role of language and communication in society, both from a broad theoretical perspective and in narrower, more focused and applied domains.

为来自中国的学生设计 Students are required to complete secondary school graduation equivalent to US high school. English language score: 99 and 107 on the TOEFL iBT, 7.0 and 8.0 on the IELTS Academic, 68 to 74 on the PTE Academic, and 185 to 204 on the Cambridge English Scale.
