The Accounting and Finance (Masters Stage) course offers the opportunity to top up your existing professional accounting qualifications to MSc level quickly, gaining additional insight and understanding in the process.

Our course will put you in an excellent position to approach and perform middle and senior management roles across different accounting and finance sectors, as well as gaining practical and transferrable skills.

What's covered in the course?

You’ll extend your understanding and awareness of the major finance theories behind strategic decision-making, as well as the finance theories which underpin a company’s financial decisions. The course encourages the analytical, technical, interpersonal and intellectual skills that may have been missing from your CCAB qualifications, and you’ll also learn the modern methods used to research topics in accounting and finance. 为来自中国的学生设计 Students need four year university degree with minimum 70% overall. They also need three year Dazhuan Diploma plus evidenced three years work experience - for Business School only. Some postgraduate courses require a subject specific undergraduate degree to qualify for entry for example, Law, Computing, Social Sciences, Engineering, etc. Some postgraduate courses also require a portfolio, others require a proposal of studies while some courses require both a portfolio and a proposal of studies. All undergraduate courses in the Computing, Engineering and the Built Environment (CEBE) faculty require Mathematics at O Level. However for the Engineering suite and BEng Telecommunication and Networks, Mathematics is required at AS Level minimum Grade C or the equivalent. All Business School undergraduate Year 1 courses require Mathematics minimum of Grade C at O Level or the equivalent. Students need to have an IELTS of 6.0 overall (with no band below 5.5).
