专业概况

在这里学什么？

A direct-entry master of nursing (MN) program is designed for students who hold a non-nursing bachelor’s degree and wish to pursue an advanced degree in nursing. This program is ideal for students who are interested in obtaining a master’s degree and becoming a Clinical Nurse Leader.

What makes our program distinguished?

The MN Direct Entry option admits students as a cohort which allows relationships among peers and faculty to develop through the program. After 16 months, students are eligible to sit for the NCLEX-RN examination, allowing students to work as Registered Nurses while completing the remaining MN credits

Through our curriculum and time spent in the Nursing Learning Resource Center (NLRC), students will have a variety of clinical experiences providing a broad overview of all of the major specialties in which nurses work, as well as a variety of settings across the health care. Students also have volunteer opportunities to expand their education.

为来自中国的学生设计 Applicants for admission to the UWM Graduate School must have the following: A baccalaureate degree or its equivalent as determined by the UWM Centre on International Education, from a regionally accredited institution, completed before the first term of enrolment in the Graduate School. Students applying to approved integrated bachelor’s/master’s programs are exempt from this requirement, A minimum cumulative undergraduate grade point average (GPA) of 2.75 on a 4.0 scale, or an equivalent measure on a grading system that does not use a 4.0 scale. TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) results with a minimum required score of 79 on the Internet-based TOEFL (IBT) and a minimum recommended sub-score of 18 in each skill). IELTS (International English Language Testing System) results with a minimum required score of 6.5, with minimum recommended sub-score of 6.0 in each skill.
