在这里学什么？ **Overview**Our Biomedical Science degree is at the forefront of understanding, diagnosing and treating human disease through laboratory and scientific investigations. Qualified Biomedical Scientists are highly sought after in pathology centres, forensic science laboratories, research institutions and in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries.You will gain the scientific and practical knowledge and skills to diagnose disease, evaluate disease progression and the effectiveness of medical interventions. Investigating potential treatments, researching drug and equipment development, testing emergency blood transfusions and screening for diseases are just a few examples of the application of Biomedical Science.The Biomedical Science team has an excellent research portfolio, which includes working in NHS diagnostic pathology laboratories. 为来自中国的学生设计 Students with the Chinese University / College Entrance Examination (Gaokao) combined with a successfully completed and a recognised foundation qualification or Gaokao (NCEE) with good results (500 out of 750 for most provinces) will be considered for admission to our undergraduate degree (courses requiring a UCAS tariff range of 96-112).
