专业概况

在这里学什么？ This degree builds on the industry-recognised HNC/D programmes. All first year entrants will start on the HNC and the entry requirements are therefore for this programme. Successful completion will allow you to progress to the second year of the HND. Following achievement of the HND, you can progress to the third year of the degree. Applicants already holding a relevant HNC qualification can apply for direct entry to the second year. When completing your application make sure you choose year two. Applicants already holding a relevant HND qualification can apply for direct entry to year three, again where this is the case please make sure you choose year three when completing your application.The BA (Hons) Visual Communication and Design gives you the opportunity to acquire the 21st century skills to generate ideas and solve problems creatively, skills required for a successful career within the creative industries. Working on projects with social, economic and environmental significance, you will develop a clear understanding of contemporary design theory and practice. Your studies will focus on the role of the visual communicator to enhance your existing visual communication skill-set through participation in a range of live project briefs and self-directed practice. Further work placements, live projects, national and international competition opportunities tailored to your individual skills and interests will give you the opportunity to develop your own creativity and portfolio of professional practice while gaining critical marketing experience. The opportunity for national and international study trips will also enhance your experience.
