Good Morning and Welcome to the Grade 5 Graduation Ceremony.

We are here today to celebrate the accomplishments of our Grade 5 class of 2020.

You have come a long way in your educational journey. It may seem like forever to you, but for your parents, just the blink of an eye.

You should take pride in what you have done, building a foundation for future learning opportunities. But as you pat yourself on the back, as many others will, remember that you have not made this journey alone. You have some people to thank: First thank your parents for all their support and your teachers who have helped you along the way. And don't forget your Grade 5 teachers who have done an amazing job of preparing you for Middle School. Thank Madam Zhang and SIBS for providing this educational opportunity.

Middle School is your next big step, but do not fear change because you are ready. You are ready to face the academic work and social challenges. You are ready to change and transform into the person you want to become.

This is your time, so make the most of it!

愿毕业生们前程似锦

Good morning everyone. My name is Oscar, and I have been to SIBS for five years. What comes in mind when I speak of schools? Learning, studying, teachers, and students may be your first choice, but now, I am going to talk about the experience I had here at SIBS. When talking about schools, all the small things, such as the teachers, students, education, and environment, really have a huge impact on the school. The reason is school is something that helps millions and even billions of people to get educated and prepared for their next stage in life.

Throughout these years, I made many friends and met many great teachers. I really enjoy my time at SIBS. At SIBS, I basically learned how to speak English, because, for the first year here, I went to ESL for the first two months. This school improved a lot, and I have seen it myself. The playgrounds and classrooms have developed, and our environment has grown friendlier. The teachers here at SIBs are my favorite. Great teachers like Mr. Frank, which is my own fifth-grade teacher, and Mr. Ed, my second-grade teacher, made me never forgot them, but right now I want to say to them, “do not be proud!” I thought to myself, what downsides does this school really have? Well, I found out. None. Apparently not, because for me, it’s a perfect school. I cannot say that this school is brilliant at teaching us about current events, but I know that they are trying to teach us what they can. As a school, SIBS is great, and I believe in the next few years, it will grow even better and help more people to be educated and prepared. So, combining the things I said above, it makes up the happiest memories I have. Thank you!

你我各自分开，于更高处相见

君诚学校的各位老师同学们，大家上午好。我是五年级C班杨智淳和杨智普同学的妈妈。很荣幸能够代表全体家长，在如此特别的毕业典礼上，送上我们的感谢和祝福。感谢老师们的教育关爱，祝福孩子们健康快乐，前途限量。未来可期，也许二十年后，登上火星的就是你。

今天，你们小学毕业啦！毕业是五年小学生涯的结束，也是未来初高中生涯的开始，你们会学到更多知识，经历更多事情，可爱的小朋友马上要成为意气风发的少年。

我很想透过四十年的人生经历，把未来可能遇到的磕绊提前告诉你们，但没有人可以预见未来的样子。尤其是当世界瞬息万变，科技突飞猛进的时刻，一切皆有可能。只要你们心怀梦想，不断学习，充满勇气地去面对未知世界。

家长为你们选择君诚来读书，是因为希望你们拥有全球性的视野，保持纯真的性情、培养独一无二的创造力。是因为希望你们不受刻板的束缚，不读死书，不成为刷题考试的机器。是因为希望你们成为有真情热血，正直善良，勇敢坚强又乐观幸福的人。

新冠肺炎让你们不能来学校上学，整整四个月，你们每天窝在家里上网课，哪也不能去！但比起那些身染重病的人，我们至少很健康，比起一线的医护人员，我们至少很安全。比起那些衣食无着的人，我们至少很温饱而且，现在大家熟练应用CCtalk，ZOOM，Managebac等等在线学习软件，下载打印，拍照上传更是不在话下。除了学校的网课，还有更多的自由支配时间，用来读自己喜欢的书，干自己喜欢的事。现在国内疫情基本结束，大家回归期盼已久的校园，老师和同学们没有一人被感染。不仅带回来一个健康的身体，还带回来一段有意义的经历，带回来平时无法获得的珍贵领悟。那就是如何面对世事的无常，如何应对突如其来的逆境。我们要使自己有能力，有信心，去面对未来的各种不确定性。

同学们，虽然你们期待中的毕业典礼没能实现，父母兄妹不能亲身鉴证这激动人心的时刻，但希望每一个人都能铭记这次特殊的毕业典礼，并把它当作一个美好的开始，畅游知识海洋，勇攀学术高峰。

君诚学校建校于2000年，座落于北京市顺义区后沙峪中央别墅区，为2-18岁的学生提供十六年一贯制的国际教育，是一所寄宿兼走读的学校。目前已取得AP，同时为IB候选校。小班制英文沉浸式教学，师生比1：6，同时可跨区招收外籍、京籍、非京籍学生。
