On Saturday April 8,2017,the annual Beijing Collegiate Academy Spring Fair was ready for everyone to enjoy.The weather was cloudy with a gentle light breeze;it was a perfect day for all children and their families to have some outdoor fun!

2017年4月8日星期六，一年一度的北京常春藤国际学校春季集市如期举行。当天天气多云，微风和煦，是一个全家共同户外玩耍的绝佳天气!

At about 8:00,some vendors arrived at our athletic field,setting up lots of interesting booths and activities.More than 50 vendors were ready for the Spring Fair before 9:30.Soon our first families arrived at our campus and were warmly welcomed by our teachers.The families are not only from our school,but also from other schools and neighborhood areas.They were all attracted by the wonderful,engaging activities.

早上八点，已经有数家展商早早来到了现场，井然有序地搬运以及布置众多设备，为活动做好了万全的准备。时间悄悄过去，不到九点半，50多家展商都已准备完毕，我校的老师们在校门口热情地欢迎大家，批观众家庭也陆续到达，开心地走进校园。这里有我们熟悉的常春藤学校的家庭，也有不少特意从其他学校和附近社区赶来的家庭，他们都被我们有趣的活动吸引到了现场。

After our principal announced the opening of the event,the performances began with an exciting horse-riding show that drew everyone’s attention.The children riding on horses looked like brave knights,promenading and trotting on the grass for the audience.This won them bigrounds of applause.After that,our students walked on the stage and performed the activities they prepared.Singing,hip pop,piano,violin,magic…our students showed everyone their special talents and their passion to perform.During the performance,we saw many happy photos posted on WeChat from teachers and parents.Everyone was so proud of how confident and talented the children were!

在校长宣布活动开始后，精彩的马术节目为当天的表演震撼开场。孩子们像骑士一样神采奕奕地骑着小马，在草坪上为家长和观众们表演了漫步和小跑等项目，赢得了阵阵热烈的掌声。接下来，在我们精心搭建的舞台上，孩子们陆续登台表演了他们准备许久的节目。唱歌，街舞，钢琴，小提琴，魔术表演–学生们向所有人展示了他们的天赋和对表演的热情。我们不断看见家长在朋友圈里更新着孩子表演的欢乐照片，孩子们自信的表演让家长们感到无比骄傲！

On the other side of the field,students were engaged in various fun activities:golf,baseball,tennis,drawing,playing the drums,and many more.Students were able to pilot some mini-unmanned aircrafts and work on a 3-D printer by themselves.These creative activities reflected future trends and have developed a great interest inscience in our students’minds.There was not a better time to watch joyful kids running on the field,participating in performances,enjoying delicious food,and sharing happy moments with each other.

在操场的另一边，学生们体验了高尔夫，棒球，网球，绘画和架子鼓等多种活动，他们还亲手驾驶了无人机并操作了3-D打印机。这些创意活动反映了未来的趋势，也让孩子们深深地爱上了科学。没有什么比看着孩子们在操场上尽情地奔跑，投入地表演，享受着美食，与朋友们共享欢乐时光更快乐的事了。

Spring Fair has always been atradition at Beijing Collegiate Academy.We thank all the vendors,teachers,and staff for organizing such a wonderful outdoor event for the students.It is festival for all children as well as a festival for Beijing Collegiate Academy！
