Cardiff and Vale College is a famous public school which is supported by the Welsh Assembly Government in Britain and located in Cardiff which is a beautiful city,the capital of Wales.

Cardiff and Vale College Shanghai Centre is the first overseas campus of CAVC in China. It is also the only international high school in China that has already achieved the “3+1” schooling system so far. It means that students who successfully complete their IGCSE and AS level study at CAVCSH will be allowed to progress to CAVC UK to complete their final year study.

英国卡迪夫公学是英国知名的由议会支持的公立学校，位于景色绮丽的威尔士首府卡迪夫市。卡迪夫公学上海校区是其入驻中国的首所分校，也是国内唯一一所实现“3+1”学制的国际高中，即学生在上海校区学习基础课程、IGCSE、AS课程后，于最后一学年赴英国总校继续深造，完成为期3-4年的英国高中课程。

入学即注册英国学籍

Students study at CAVC Shanghai will be enrolled at main campus, and they will benefit from the local government during their high school life. At the same time, the main campus also offer professional guidance designed to help students successfully apply for universities.

学生入学即获英国学籍，在总校学习期间，可享用来自当地政府的权益。与此同时，为能保障学生顺利申请大学，总校还设有专业的升学指导。

02. 100% BRITISH CURRICULUN

课程与英国总校100%同步

CAVC UK provides over 50 different courses. All teaching materials are appointed by CIE (Cambridge International Examinations). CAVCSH provides the best courses to give Chinese students, and the best start to their academic career. They will study English, academic writing, Physics, Chemistry, and Maths, along with Economics and accounting, ICT and so on. This gives a strong foundation for further study and a broad range of knowledge to allow them to choose a course of their choice at university.

卡迪夫公学英国总校有50多门课程供学生选择，并使用剑桥国际考试委员会(Cambridge International Examinations,简称CIE)全球统一指定教材。上海校区根据中国学生的特点，选择性设置了以下课程：英语、学术写作、数学、物理、化学、经济学、会计、艺术与设计课、计算机通讯技术及雅思课程。所有课程大纲及教学计划均与英国总校一致。

 

03. THE CORE MANAGEMENT TEAM FROM THE U.K.

The key foreign teachers of our school are all resident British teachers of CAVC. Every year, the main campus will conduct several teaching trainings for teachers in Shanghai campus, and all teachers can only be qualified to taught after passing the training assessment.

卡迪夫公学上海中心的骨干外籍师资均为总校公派常驻的英籍教师，英国总校非常重视上海校区的教学质量和师资队伍建设。每年，总校会对上海校区教师进行多次教学培训，所有教师培训考核合格后方可执教。

 

04. FINAL YEAR AT CAVC MAN CAMPUS A2

前往英国总校学习，并由总校管理升学

CAVCSH is the first school to take 3+1 program in China. In the first two or three years，students finish IGCSE and AS in China，and then they go to CAVC main campus to finish A2 courses.

卡迪夫公学上海中心是国内首所采用3+1学制的A-level国际高中。学生在上海校区进行IGCSE课程和A-level课程AS阶段的学习。完成AS阶段统考后，A2阶段直接进入卡迪夫公学英国总校校区完成学业。

报考流程

                      C. 到校提交入学申请表

2、提交材料a.报名表 b.一寸免冠照片3张 c.学生身份证复印件2张 d.在读/毕业成绩单
 

3、入学评估所有报名学生均需参加由卡迪夫公学上海校区组织的入学评估测试，测试过程及阅卷工作皆由英国总校把控完成，评估结果将作为录取参考标准之一(于3个工作日内通知录取结果)。
 

4、审核录取招生办将根据学生入学评估结果及其他综合信息来定夺是否录取。被录用学生将收到《录取通知书》和《新生入学指南》。
 

5、入学报到学生根据《录取通知书》上的报到时间，及时缴纳学费及其他费用，准时到校办理入学手续。学生入学后将由学校注册学籍，学籍为卡迪夫公学学籍，毕业后获卡迪夫公学高中毕业证书。
