“爆竹声中一岁除，春风送暖入屠苏。千门万户尤眨总把新桃换旧符。”新的一年本是这么美好，但是2020年的伊始，我们生活的蓝色星球却不甚安好。新型冠状病毒，它被发现在2019年，延续到了2020年，它让地球村中的每一个成员空前一致地将目光关注到COVID-19及病毒防控，因为这影响着人类的共同命运。

为了防控病毒的传播与蔓延，我们不能回到校园，而作为地球村的成员，我们虽然身在家中，却心系我们的家园——地球村。在这个全球同舟的特殊时期，我们用自己的方式表达莘莘学子对世界的关注。

这个3月，北京中加学校和通州华仁学校的同学们以“我在地球村”为题，以地球村记者、新闻发言人、普通热心民众等各种身份，关注各国的新型冠状病毒以及其他危及人类健康安全的各种病毒的防疫防控。作为地球村的一员，同学们秉持客观、友善的姿态，观察、调研、讨论、展望这次疫情在全球的发展，并用英文以视频、平面海报、立体海报等方式表达中加及华仁学生的国际视野和爱国情怀。

  The year of 2020 is hailed in an unusual way. Families are not enjoying the outdoors; students are not studying on campus. The trigger of all these is a newly discovered virus called COVID-19, which has been listed as a Public Health Emergency of International Concern (PHEIC).

The global outbreak of the epidemic has caused unprecedentedly common concern. It is indeed a critical moment for not only any single individual but human beings as a whole. While our global village is facing the pandemic, we students, as the villagers, would like to involve ourselves into this global issue by focusing, researching, and cogitating on the updating of the epidemic situations as well as the public safety.

Here come our perception, our vision and our determination.
